SOOOO totally not really late for both Mother's Day AND Mum's birthday. Totally. BUT it's done now, and I'm actually really happy with how it turned out.

I ended up stealing 's shading brushes since a) it was posted and b) their reply to a comment looked like it gave usage permission. If not, I'm sorry and I'll stop using them, but I REALLY like your brushes. <3 

If I had been smart, I would have planned out B.A.B.S.E.'s design and Azû's wing design in advance of drawing and recording for a speedpaint, but they look good anyway. Hey, what can I say, I guess I'm just really good a WINGING it! HA! Ha, haha, no need to laugh, I know I'm funny _not. coughs

This is one of the few times you will ever see B.A.B.S.E. without her shades on, but because it's nighttime, her owl eyes can take it just fine. Perfect lighting for playing with your water-child.
